why am i here?

ART EVERY DAY MONTH & NABLOPOMO

SOUL COACHING - DAY SEVEN

affirmation for today - WHO I AM IS ENOUGH

why am i here? what is the purpose of my life?

these are the BIG questions and i wish i knew the solid answers 100%.

why am i here? to seek enlightenment, live an authentic life and make a positive difference in this world.

what is the purpose of my life? to seek enlightenment, live an authentic life and make a positive difference in this world.

how do i go about that? after reading so many self-help books over the years, you would think i would be way ahead of the game but.....i'm not. i'm still on my path, seeking enlightenment. i don't have big goals and i am happy with that. who i am is enough.

who am i? a loving and supportive mother, a carer and an artist. i'm someone who wants to make a positive difference this world, particularly in the lives of animals. in some aspects, i believe i am already making a difference, no matter how small, through my art and my own personal commitments. i also try to be the best person that i can be each and every day but i'm only human and i do make mistakes. life's lesson, i guess.

at this point in time, i do believe i'm heading in the right direction, whatever that may be, by focusing on BEING in the present moment. i believe that by placing my full love, focus and positive commitment to each present moment, the future will unfold as it should for me.

i am exactly where i need to be right now.

love, light and peace ~

  2. It's a big crazy to be expected to answer these HUGE questions just after a week of SC but you're doing it. I love that you want to work with animals and that word "authentic" is resonating through this post.

I hope you get a chance to tackle those recipes! What a difference it makes. I'm not done but I've let go of TWO of my ugly binders!

  4. I've loved all of your art, and I love this mandala. Your question mark in the center speaks to me and says that perhaps we are here to ask and learn.

  6. I share your beliefs - sometimes we read so many books that it confuses us when really, the answers are so simple.

  8. I agree it is a good post! there are some questions we will never have answers too, but as long as we enjoy looking for them its not to bad. It sounds like you are going in the right direction sometime I feel like I'm going round in a circle.

  10. I don't think any of us has the big question the universe ask.

I'm starting to give my self permission to be who I am. Although I even at time wonder about a lot of whys.
But I don't let it total control me.

    Coffee is on.

  11. I am really enjoying your journey this month!! It's very inspiring and I love the wisdom.

Today I went to the Museum of Natural History. In the Hall of Human Evolution there is a room with a sign that says come in and ask ANY QUESTION about origins of humanity etc. Next time I'm going in there just to ask this: WHY?

    I shoulda taken a picture.

    LOL

  17. Hi Serena,

I love your blog! I love that you are doing soul coaching and writing about it. Who am I is certainly a huge question. If you keep asking yourself, you will know. :-) For me looking in the mirror and telling myself that I loved me really propelled me forward.

    Namaste,
    E. Michelle
