We get both the swarming kind and the subterrain types. We've had our house treated three times but they come back every year. One of the drawbacks of living in a tropical area, I guess. <br /><br />Yes, lavender needs lots of full sun and frequent watering. Hopefully you have caught it before it spread.<br />I think with lavenders the soil needs to be moist all the time. I too am having problems with my Azeleas. They are dying because we have not had enough rain and the ground is so dry. It just sucks in all the water that we pour.
