It only took me a year to....

....finally get started on Reece's request for
a multi-canvas painting for his bedroom.
But hey, I've had A LOT going on and
luckily for me
Reece has been very patient.

There are SEVEN canvasses all up
in varying sizes.

This was the first coat

This is a partial first coat of the bonsai-style tree
which Reece wants portrayed as a silhouette.

It's that time of year again for Art Every Day Month and
I debated whether or not to participate this year
with so much on my plate
but here I am again, all signed up!

Click on the graphic above to see the work
of other members taking part in this month's challenge.

There's no guarantee that I'll be able to post every day
but I'll sure give it a try.
Come join us!

  1. I like how you've offset the canvases. The beginning of this bonsai is intriguing. I look forward to watching it progress.

    2. Serena, Thanks so much for your visit and helpful comment on my blog linking. My hubby and I just spent time playing with it and think I figured it out now. Was so nice of you to help, I'm not very computer savvy so any help is much appreciated.
We did our thankful leaves and I loved what the others wrote on theirs. Will be sharing them tomorrow. Hope you will be here tomorrow! Thanks again!

Such fun to be back here in blogland, and AEDM was just wanted I needed to get back in the swing of things post-health issues. I hope to be around more when I can, now I'm doing better--I'm online a little less still these days. The less technology is not a bad things.. LOL! I posted for the first time in weeks--it felt good, sweet! HAPPY DAYS :O) ((HUGS))

  11. That looks like it's going to be majestic when it's completed! I'm glad to be participating in AEDM along with you, Serena. I've got a ton on my plate, this month, too, but I always seem to find so many things I want to participate in at the same time. You know what they say - when it rains it pours!

  12. OMGosh! This is going to be exciting to see what you make--all month! What a glorious start! I can hardly wait to see how this progresses. Looks awesome. Leah was looking at multi-panal paintings of cherry blossom branches...hummm...I shall be watching closely, my friend. ;)

    1. Thanks, Rita! This one will be more simplistic with Reece only wanting a silhouette tree. Hopefully, I can do the foliage justice 'cos I feel that a silhouette will make that part harder to define. xo

  13. It'll be cool to watch it come alive - big task - love that you will PAINT every day and maybe on something bigger than a project in a day. Paint on!
