It's been a while since I posted and no, I don't have any paintings to show for it. I know.......
shame on me! I have been busy with school holidays here and, dare I say it, I've been blissfully enjoying the fact that I don't have to follow a routine. We've been taking it day by day and lovin' it! I completed a jigsaw that I had bought for my 8 year old son for his birthday (Dec 23rd). I knew it would be too advanced for him at 750 miniscule pieces
but it was a picture of harp seals and he loves those. I also thought it would be a good family project which it was because everyone helped add some pieces, even though I was left on my own to finish it after the halfway mark. It took just over a week to complete and now I plan to frame it for Aaron's room.

Another bit of news I have to tell you is that we now have a new addition to our family. His name is Cody, a Shih Tzu X Chihuahua hybrid and he's absolutely
adorable!!! He's 8 weeks old and keeps us all on our toes. I can't believe it's been nearly nine years since I've had a dog! I still miss my little toy poodle, Brandy. I can't believe I now have another dog to love and cherish! Can you tell I'm excited??!!! There's no doubt that Cody will show up in some of my future paintings.

Apart from focusing my art on wildlife and domestic animals in 2007, I would like to try my hand at painting some art cards and doing the whole eBay thing. I've been listed as a Seller for so long now but, as yet, I haven't plucked up the courage to put something on eBay for sale. I'm such a coward! However, when I do go down that yellow brick road and find my courage, you'll be the first to know.

Well, that's about it for now.
Until next time...
