Zentangle

Another zentangle which I worked on while in the waiting room at the hospital on Wednesday.

Michelle and Alex came to visit today and we had such a lovely time. We assembled our own homemade pizzas for lunch which were absolutely delicious! We watched family videos back to when the kids were all little and reminisced about good times. We also had a good laugh at some of the funny moments and, of course, my tight curl, 'helmet' perm (what was I thinking?! lol).

Michelle and Alex gave me a beautiful pink dressing gown for Mother's Day which I am currently wearing as I type. A storm moved through last night and left behind some cold, icy winds for today so my dressing gown is perfect for keeping me cosy and warm. I think I will go to bed early tonight and snuggle up with a good book and a hot mug of chai tea.

  3. Serena, I haven't experienced a child leaving the nest yet. But, I think I can feel your joy when Michelle come and visit you. I like your zentangle. It must be soothing to make that. BTW, what book were you reading? :)

PS: I have a new blog.

  4. Hi Mum!

I love your zentangle, you're always so good at anything you do! I sure wish I was an artist, but I'll stick with music instead lol! Keep up the good work! Oh yeah, the Rainbow Lorikeet painting with the cup is fantastic, you are such a wonderful painter! I can't wait to see more!

By the way, I looked down the page and I saw pictures of Aaron and Cody in Aaron's matress-made tent! That is so cool! I was actually in that tent as well at one point that day, those pics must have been done before or after I was in there!

    Love Bradley! xoxox

  8. You can never go wrong with Chai tea.

Here I can sometimes find chocolate chai...it is my all-time favorite. You can really taste the cocoa in it, but it is definitely chai tea. Celestial Seasonings makes it, I don't know if they distrubute in Oz or not.
