....and has been for a couple of days now. Actually, in the past month or so, I've had a lot of pain in my feet and I'm not sure why. While I do worry about Rheumatoid Arthritis, as my Mum suffers with the condition and it can be hereditary, I'm trying to keep a positive mind. I guess time will tell. Anywhoo, it prompted the EveryDay Matters challenge I chose for today....

On Friday, Michelle came over and we - Michelle, Bradley, Aaron, Cody and I - went to Forest Lake for a walk and a picnic. We had a lovely day out and, as always, I snapped some pics during our walk.
that flower is gorgeous :D
ReplyDeleteouch about your feet :( really hope they start feeling better soon. if not you should really get it checked out in case it is something really serious
What a simply lovely day you had. Those pictures make me long for spring and summer even more so.
ReplyDeleteI hope that you foot begins to feel better very soon. No worries;)
Peace~
Dawn
what a cute little foot!!! sorry you have had pain. hope it will go as quick as it came!
ReplyDeleteSerena,
ReplyDeleteDo your read Judy Wise's blog, she did a post about her feet and arthritis recently. If you did not see it let me know and I will find the link. Two other possibilities you might look at are if it is heel pain then you can get insoles or orthotics for your shoes to help. I have pain in my feet which led me to find out I have type II diabetes. I am sure there are a lot more reasons for foot pain than these, I guess you'll just need to get yourself checked but its not always arthritis. Take care.
Oh I love the drawing you did of your foot. You draw so well.
Kate
I hope you get better quick because I can see how you love freedom of movement, getting out with your kids.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the photos of your day out. Michelle is so beautiful...
oh and I love the sketch. You've given me an idea for when I do pencil or pen work, just to put some color on the background to dress it up a little. I use to do that once in awhile but haven't in a long time.
ReplyDeleteNicely drawn! It's so nice to see flowers even it they're on the other side of the world. I miss them so!
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures from your outing. Looks like a fun place. Hope your foot heals and doesn't become a constant bother...Shelly
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun day except for the sore feet.
ReplyDeleteThe cascading flowers are so bright and beautiful, and the Tibouchina flower is one I've never heard of but I love the color.
Hi Serena,
ReplyDeleteWow, your drawings are sooo good.
Love the photo's and descriptions of your day out with the family.
Now, about that foot/feet-have you seen a Dr?
If the pain is mainly in the heel, it could be heal spurs.
I hope you're on the mend real soon, I know I get really cranky if my feet are hot and sore!
Yes, me cranky! lol
Hugs,
Anna
Lovely flowers--and kids! ;) Yes--looks like you should go in to the doctor and ask about the foot pain--could be a lot of things. Then you'll know and not have to worry. A lot of times our imaginations are worse than the facts. And maybe they can give you some ideas as to how to make it less painful for you, too.
ReplyDeleteYou do have pretty feet! ;)
hope your foot is feeling less painful.. I didn't know what that was called but sometimes I get it too.. I use emu-oil to rub into the bone.. but now I wear 'orthotics' in my boots... hate that word.. orthotics..
ReplyDeleteSo sorry your feet hurt... :(
ReplyDeleteYou have such amazing flowers and wildlife. Great pics!
I love the drawing of your foot!! And I'm sorry you're having foot pain!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you found me, because that let me find you!! I love your art and your blog!!
By the way...."I Am"....from "Ham sa"? Just curious. :)
Very pretty drawing! My foot hurts in exactly the same place, and has done for months, maybe even a year. Did you get anything done to it or has the pain stopped?
ReplyDeleteHi there rockinkitten,
ReplyDeleteSo sorry I've taken so long to respond to your question. February was a crazy month. I never did find out why that particular part of my foot hurt, however, I now deal with painful feet (whole) on a daily basis. My test for Rheumatoid Arthritis came back clear but then, it could be osteo-arthritis. I'm going back to the doctor to seek further testing. I hope your pain has eased by now.
