to michelle's house we go

on friday, aaron and i walked to michelle's house

it was a beautiful, sunny day

so i snapped some pics along the way

an enjoyable 30 minute walk

in a lovely australian bush setting

in the midst of suburbia
how lucky are we?!

we had a great time at michelle's place but i didn't get a chance to take pics during our visit because michelle and i got busy sewing a little summer dress for mikayla

i did snap this pic of michelle and mikayla waving us goodbye

as aaron and i set off on the path home again

~ love, light and peace ~

  1. What a lovely walk and how nice that you live so close to your daughter and grandaughter!

It's nice to know that spring is happening with you...I'll be living vicariously through your photo's for the next 6 months! We're already immersed in rain but the rest of the week is supposed to be back to sun which will be helpful for the fence building that's happening this week.

  6. What a gorgeous walk!!! I am really jealous! ;)

So you guys got out the sewing machine and were making baby clothes! Cool! I ought to get my machine back all cleaned and oiled in the not too distant future. Guess I had best get organized and get the Christmas cards started because I can't play with the sewing machine until I get the other things done first. Probably be after the holidays with as slow as I move--LOL! Sounds like fun! You'll have to get pics of the clothes you guys make, too, okay? :):)

  10. Hi Serena! I enjoyed your little sojourn through the woods! It's a good thing you thought to bring your camera along. I bought a small camera just to keep with me at all times...in my purse....because you just never know where inspiration will hit!

    What a cute pose....waving goodbye!

  13. I'm singing "If you go down to the woods today, you're sure of a big surprise...." What a gorgeous bushwalk to visit your family, and what an AMAZING adventure for your grand daughter when she makes the journey herself!

I think I wouldn't make it past the creek. I would be there with jeans rolled up, feet in the water, and eyes looking at all the creek life.

    You are all lucky duckies!!
