Life On The Go

I recently joined a Facebook group called
The group was created by the lovely Paula
who is so inspiring with her daily habit of taking photos.
The idea with the group is to photograph our daily life
using our mobile/cell phones.
I thought it would be fun
to share my phone pics here too!

Day 1 prompt - Door
This is the what greets our visitors at the moment.
I LOVE snowmen!

Day 2 - Love
We have no room to put up our regular Christmas tree this year
as we are chockers with furniture after Beau moved back home.
So, Michelle gave me a little table-top tree to use.
I bought a tiny tree decoration kit and I must say
I am in LOVE this little Christmas tree!

Day 3 - Key
My connection to my house and car
with some Celtic and Goddess power thrown in for good measure.

Day 4 - Calendar
As you already know,
I'm a big supporter of animal welfare causes
so I buy Greenpeace calendars.
Their calendars are big and beautiful!
This is the one for 2014.

I couldn't resist this 2014 Wolf calendar either.
I view wolves as my Totem animal.
LOVE 'em!

Day 5 - Bell
My Buddha bell

Day 6 (current) - Ring
I'm a sterling silver, silver, white gold kinda gal and
here a few of my silver rings.

All of the above were taken with my Samsung Galaxy S3 mobile phone.

I was so saddened to hear the news of Nelson Mandela's passing this morning.
What an amazing man he was and he will be remembered with love.
A true inspiration!

~ may he rest in peace ~

  1. Great photo idea--daily snaps! LOVE your littl tree, Serena! Fun this little peek into your every day. Thank you for sharing. :o) Happy Days ((HUGS)) P.S. the news today was very sad...another great gone, but spirit lives on...

    1. Thanks, Tracy. I'm having so much fun with this daily photo thing that I'm considering signing up for the Photo A Day annual challenge. :)

  2. I also love my 2 ft high tree!!! You might end up sticking with it every year! Love the blue ornaments!

    1. If truth be told, I suggested a table-top tree last year rather than bring out the huge tree that takes up so much space....the kids won out. This year, they don't get a choice. hehehe I LOVE the little trees! :)

  3. I love all these - especially the Christmas Tree! I have been enjoying seeing your photos on Instagram!

    1. Thanks, Keith. I haven't had much time to catch up with friends' blogs but hope to soon. Just need to get some ornaments painted up for my Granddaughters first. :)

  4. I like your rings, always did like silver.
    And your tiny christmas tree.

  5. Love them all!
Mandela was a remarkable man. He will be missed.
Glad you have your little tree! So cute!
    Love and hugs!! :)

    1. He most certainly was a remarkable man, Rita.

Love and hugs to you ~ xo

  6. I love them all too! My totem is the woodpecker! Yes, I felt sad all day yesterday after hearing that Nelson Mandela had died, truly a great man.

    1. Thanks, Krissie. What a cool totem you have!

I watched the tributes to Nelson Mandela followed up by the movie - Invictus - which was about him too. Throughout the evening, I learned some things I didn't know about the man and I was even more impressed. He sure made his mark on the world.

  7. your little tree looks great :D we have no space for a tree right now either, so need to get out the little table tree

  8. Love all your photos! I used two table top trees because we live in a little house. Love your door decoration too.
