Sketching raisin toast

Happy Sunday to you!
Today actually felt like Saturday to me for some reason.
I guess I always lose track of days when Aaron is on school holidays.

I did a bit of homework for Sketchbook Skool today.
Danny Gregory is teacher for this first week of second semester.
Yet another awesome klass!

My homework - A slice of raisin toast.
I used PITT pens in various widths and colours -
dark sepia, black, raw umber, green gold and sanguine -
in my Moleskine A5 sketchbook.

Linking up to Sunday Sketches and Artists Play Room this week.

    1. Thanks, Juana. Yep, it's so easy to lose track of days when the regular routine changes for the holidays.

    1. Thanks, Kim. It helped that I had already eaten some raisin toast prior to sketching. This one was purely used in the name of art...I can't stand cold toast. lol

    1. Thanks, Rita. I guess he figures that everyone has food of some sort in their pantry...this week was about 'seeing' all the details of bread. :)

  12. Beautiful sketch :) Did the toast get cold while you were sketching it? It happened to me before, I was so tempted to teat it while drawing :)

    1. Thanks, Viktoriya. Yes, the toast got cold and, as I can't stand cold toast, it was purely used for a sketch subject and nothing else. I stayed the temptation by eating freshly made raisin toast prior to sitting down and sketching. :)
