i was reading some blogs yesterday and did a bit of link-hopping which led me to soul coaching by denise linn. i have read some of denise's books before and i felt immediately drawn to participate in this 'blog book club'. it starts november 1st, so i raced out this morning and picked up a copy of the book so i can be prepared.
an excerpt from the book cover - soul coaching is a four-week program dedicated to an in-depth clearing and cleansing of the different aspects of your life: mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual. by following the practical, carefully crafted steps presented here, you'll find that you're able to uncover your authentic self.
november will certainly be a busy month for me! i hope i can go the distance......
Art and blogging every day--and working on your soul, too--Wow!! Yes--it will be a busy month, but very, very exciting! I will be tuned in and cheering you on! :)
ReplyDeleteAre you trying to kill yourself in November??? LOL...well better to stay busy---at least staying out of trouble that way, eh??? xxxooo
ReplyDeleteWell I'm impressed, I think you must be hitting a real creative period, and peaking! It sounds very intriguing and I hope you share more about it..
ReplyDeleteThere use to be a time (before I started having grandkids).. when I would spend most of my spare time reading books with a spiritual bent. I have a huge library, oh..my.. when I think of the money I spent (when I was working) in twenty years of buying books.. I will never get rid of my books. I like to keep one on the nightstand for inspiration.
Wow! You are going to be one busy woman next month! I'm looking forward to reading all about it, Serena. The soul searching sounds really interesting too :D
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how much you are doing next month. Looking forward to following along with you
ReplyDeleteThank you, Rita ~ :)
ReplyDeleteJust call me crazy, Julie ~ :)
Thanks, Sandy....I'm quite unprepared but plan to take each day head on as it comes. I'm hoping my creative spirit will unleash itself, otherwise, I'm in trouble. :)
Thanks, Maria....I'm trying to stay positive that I will manage it okay.
Thanks, miss 376 ~ :)
Denise Linn is very cool. I went to a workshop of hers once- great experience!!!
ReplyDeleteHi, Serena,
ReplyDeleteI wanted to stop by and say welcome to the Soul Coaching group. I've added you to our list of participants. It looks like it's going to be an amazing November! I'll look forward to sharing it with you.
Jamie
Jessica, I'm so jealous! Judging from Denise's books that I've read, I think her workshops would be AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteHi Jamie, thanks for taking the time to stop by. I'm all set...I think ~ ;)
Serena, you are killing me here! I want to do all these fun things, too! I get such a boost and so much inspiration from your upbeat attitude and blog posts. It's going to be so much fun reading your blog in the coming month- but then, your blog is always fun to visit!
ReplyDeleteI think I am killing myself, Linda. lol Let's hope I can keep up daily....it's something I haven't been able to do before on my blog but I'm committed to trying. Thanks for the support ~ :)
ReplyDeleteHey Serena, I signed up for this book club read too, so I'm happy to see you'll be doing it as well. I haven't read any of Denise's books although I listen to her program on Hay House Radio (on the internet) quite often and she's great!
ReplyDeleteHi Serena, I'm so impressed with your plans to blog and create art every day, and then to work on your soul, your authentic self on top of that! That's ambitious. I will be here checking on you, trying to cheer you on.
ReplyDeleteKate, that's GREAT! I'm happy that you're doing the 'Soul Coaching' too. I guess I get a head start with our time zone being ahead of your's. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Deborah....it will be a challenge but one I'm looking forward to. :)
I am doing the Soul Coaching as well.. I live in Australia also and I am going to do each day on the day it falls.. which will be a day early but it works better for me to do it that way. I have already posted my Sacred Contract on my blog and am creating the altar later today.
ReplyDeleteI did the book a few years ago by myself.. and it was hard going not to have others to chat with about it.. this is perfect! Enjoy your journey :)
