january photo a day - bloomin' chillies!

my little chilli plant is sprouting chillies! WHOO HOO!


i just have to wait for them to grow a little more, then turn to a nice bright shade of red so i can harvest them for later use in a nice, spicy dish.......then i'll be one, HOT MAMA! well, my mouth will be anyways...lol

  3. Oh, yeah! A friend grew some in his garden this year and I have a little dish of nicely dried chilies on my counter... popped one in a corn chowder the other day and wooooo... it made the soup! a chunk of homemade bread toasted and we had a feast.....
