sacred life sunday and photo a day

this is my first sacred life sunday post. basically, it's where each sunday, i will be sharing parts of my life that i hold sacred.....simple or big. things that help me connect creatively to the higher source within me, life itself and the people in my life. for more information from the creator of sacred life sunday, you can visit the link under my 2009 happenings in the sidebar.

to cover both sacred sunday and photo a day, i thought i would share a pic of a small meditation buddha i bought prior to christmas. i felt immediately drawn to the serenity and calmness that this buddha seemed to radiate and i had to have it. i also figured it would serve as a reminder to do my daily meditations. after taking up daily meditation in november, i can say with surety that this is a practice i hold sacred in my daily life. it helps to connect me to the source within and grounds me for the rest of the day.

  8. Love the photo it does look serene and calm. This reminds me that a couple years ago I bought a similar buddha and it is just sitting up on a shelf. Maybe I need to pull it down and place it somewhere as a reminder. Nice post Serena.
