full moon earth healing and mantra card

i have recently joined robyn's full moon earth healing circle with the collective aim to help heal the earth through our monthly rituals which are carried out on the night of a full moon. last night, there was a full moon in our night sky so i braved the cold and went outside to sit under the pergola. i lit the candle (pictured below) as the start to my ritual and then i stared up at the full moon and invoked its magic to help heal the earth.

i meditated on this for around ten minutes before the cold winter breezes got the better of me.
after saying a silent prayer of thanks, i headed back inside, feeling happy that i had contributed my energies to healing the earth.

the full moon earth healing ritual also inspired my mantra card for this week.
the full moon is believed to enhance psychic powers and abilities. it is helpful in all forms of magic and enhances power where it is needed most.

so my affirmation this week is -
i am confident in my abilities
may this encourage me to be an instrument in the earth's healing

  8. I use to sit out on full moons and send some of my energy back into the earth when I lived in Alberta. Made me feel better spiritually and physically. I thought the earth got something out of it and I did too :) so it was a win win situation. And I loved sitting there listening to the coyotes howling away :)

thanks, lisa. i'll pop on over to your blog shortly ~ :)

thanks, boho. :) this is an online group and, like you, i would love to find a woman's circle in my area but wouldn't have a clue where to start looking.

thanks, messyfish. :) it's cold to our acclimatised bodies. coming from a colder area, you would probably not even notice the cold here. lol

thank you, prospero, and i'll be sure to say HI to cody for you. :)

thanks, caroline. :) it's been a busy week for me but i plan on catching up with your blog shortly.

thanks, julie. :) i love contemplating life too while staring up at the sky - day or night. such vastness is mesmerising for me.

prospero, i thought angelina was a papillon when i saw her photo on your blog. very cute! my cody is a cross between chihuahua/shih-tzu/maltese....my vet says he has definitely taken more after the maltese and shih-tzu though. he will be turning three in november. :)

  16. Hi Serena,

What a wonderful thing to do. Do you do this every time there is a Full moon? I would love to join in on healing the Earth.

  17. Hi Serena!
My calendar doesn't tell the phases of the moon, so I'd have to find some place online that tells when the moon is full. The more people sending good energy to the earth the better! Love your night moon mantra card! You'll always think of your moonlight healing sessions every time you see it. :)

  18. This is pretty amazing as I am currently working on a painting of a woman looking at a full moon.

These synchonicities are showing up more and more in recent times. I'll have it posted to my own blog in a couple of days.

  19. Pretty card. I hope your mantra works. We could all use some healing.

  20. I can't think of a more dynamic duo than you and Robyn! If i had money to burn and could spend a few days with anyone on this planet I would totally come hang out with you two. You are both so amazing! The earth is in good hands! :)

Your affirmation card is divine! :)

  21. thanks, shashi....it has been proven that the moon cycles can effect our moods. i find it fascinating ~ :)

thanks, darla. i love visiting your blog.

thanks, norma. we would love to have you on board with this. yes, each month on the full moon...each of us in the circle spends some time doing our own earth healing ritual...you do what suits you best. it truly has a positive effect on your own wellbeing too. i'll email you. :)

thanks, rita. in my sidebar, i have a gadget that tells me what phase the moon is in each and every day. mine is set for the Southern hemisphere. if you click on it, you will be taken to the website where you will be able to copy and paste the code into your blog via the Add a Gadget feature.

thomas, i love that we were on the same wavelength. i've found that a lot lately with other blogger friends. it's collective consciousness at work and i'll look forward to seeing your painting.

    thanks, carla ~ :)

thanks for your lovely comment, genie. i know that you, robyn and i would have a fantastic time together. :)

  22. That painting is up on my blog now. So weird how we all kinda tap into each other's concepts without knowing.

  24. Hi, Serena, I think it is wonderful that you are actively pursuing what you feel strongly about.

Your "confident" piece is beautiful. Is it a card?

*Perhaps I should make you a shawl for the cool night outdoor meditation.

thanks, luci, and yes, the mantra piece is one of the cards i've been doing each week. i hope to have a whole deck by the end of the year. awwww, you're a sweetie....i've actually been thinking of making a shawl for those chilly nights outdoors. my dressing gown sufficed ~ :)
