SO,
for November
for November
I'm continuing with my 75 day pen/ink sketch challenge.
I babysat Mikayla today which
truly was the best medicine for me.
I had woken up foggy-brained with neck stiffness
after the tension migraine I had yesterday.
I adore my little granddaughter who
will be turning two in December.
We have lots of fun together and
she helps me forget about the aches and pains.
Not long after Michelle dropped Mikayla off,
we went outside to water the pot plants
under the pergola.
Well, she spotted a chicken ornament
and it was love at first sight.
Mikayla carried that ornament around
for the rest of the day,
cradling it in her arms like a baby.
On waking from her afternoon nap,
the first thing she wanted was,
"Chicken"!
So I decided to sketch it for
#32 of the 75 day pen/ink sketch challenge.
Penil-free sketch in A6 Moleskine pocket sketchbook
using ZIG Millennium and Micron pens.
Are you participating in any challenges this month?

What a gorgeous chicken! I can see why she likes it so much. I really adore your sketches. So much so that it has inspired me to try and do a sketch each day for AEDM.
ReplyDeleteYou are so talented..the chicken looks real, like it will just walk away off the page.
