It was a beautiful, clear day without storms. YAY!
My poor sunflowers copped quite a bashing from the weekend storms.
Strong winds, heavy rain, and even hail wreaked havoc.
They look so sad, all bent over and drooping.
I don' think they'll recover.
Luckily, I did take lots of photos during their growth period
and decided to sketch one from a rear view today.
I can hardly believe I've made it all the way to #50!

ReplyDeleteHope baby comes soon..Grandma needs her!
Serena, you make sketching look so simple, yet I know it's not. The sunflower is wonderful. Good luck on becoming a grandma again soon!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on making it to #50 sketch! :) This sunflower is excellent! Hope you get to meet the new grandbaby soon.
ReplyDeletecongrats on getting to #50! its great drawing of the back of the flower, most people never look at the back, and they can be just as interesting as the front of the flower
ReplyDeletewhy would baby want to come out? :p someplace warm and food all the time :p
It is going to be so cool when you reach 75!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the sunflower sketches. Sorry they took such a beating. Hail even--wow!
I hope Michelle doesn't have to be induced. Sending prayers baby comes on her own. :)
