Today was another one of those days where I could easily have given up on
the 75 day challenge.
I think the humidity caused my arthritis to flare up
plus my shoulder was also aching.
Yes, I was feeling quite sorry for myself.
I finally came to the decision that a quick sketch
was better than no sketch at all AND....
it keeps me in the challenge.
I'm getting close to the finish line now and I know
I'd be disappointed in myself if I let it go.
#59 of 75 pen/ink sketches
My sewing machine
Pencil-free sketch in A6 Moleskine pocket sketchbook
using ZIG Millennium, Micron and PITT pens.

I often wonder that myself!

Love the sketch Serena! Just seeing the sewing machine makes me want to leave work now and go home to sew something!
ReplyDeleteVery nice sketch, I hope the aches and pains are a little lessened today.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you stuck with the challenge! :)
ReplyDeleteI've never understood that either. I'm amazed by the magic some people can create with a sewing machine. I somehow manage to do more harm than good! :-)
ReplyDeletegreat sketch!
get him a needle threader? might help, i find them to be more of a pain to use tho
ReplyDeletereally good sketch, I think the weather is more responsible for our aches and pains than we realise! today we have high winds, and my hayfever is just awful with dust flying around!
ReplyDeleteLOL! They seem to have gotten smaller since I hit 50, too!! ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you haven't given up. You are so close to the end. I want to see your official card when you get it. ;)
