Day 5 - AEDM & Nablopomo - #36 Buddha

I came so close to packing in the 75 day sketch challenge today.
I was just not up to par.
I felt so tired and
I kept putting the sketch off,
and putting it off,
and putting it off,
 until 3 pm came and,
I thought, it's now or never!
I forced myself to grab my pens and Moleskine sketchbook
then went to my bedroom/my sanctuary.
There, I sat on my bed and sketched
the Buddha sculpture that resides in my room.
I love this statue!
It's not the first time I have sketched him either.
He is from Bali and sculpted from wood.
He sits nearly two feet high and
was originally dark brown but
I painted him an aqua-blue which I love.
He always seems to bring me peace and calm.

So, here he is...

#36 of 75 pen/ink sketches

Pencil-free sketch in A6 pocket Moleskine sketchbook
using a mix of ZIG Millennium, Faber Castell PITT, and Micron pens.

So, I live to see another day in the 75 day pen/ink sketch challenge.
I'm nearly at the halfway mark now and
I sure hope I can make it all the way to the end.
