MONDAY PHOTO-A-WEEK - More storm pics

For my photos this week, I thought I'd share more pics I took this morning of the damage caused by the storm that passed through this area yesterday.

You can click any image to enlarge it.

This is just outside the fence-line of Aaron's school. It was like the trees had been knocked down like dominoes.

This was an area just inside the school grounds

Some form of framework/scaffolding at the local athletics club was all twisted around

This home had parts of its colourbond fence blown away

The clean-up crews will be kept busy for most of today, I would say

It's been another very hot and humid day so I'm just praying we don't get another storm.

Love, light and peace

  1. That must have been some storm! It looks like quite a bit of damage. I don't envy you all the heat and humidity! It's been nice and cool where I am and that's just how I like it.

  2. Hi Serena,
    Oh my goodness.
Those pictures are great but what terrible mess those storms have made.
I hope you have better weather for some time now.
    Hugs,
    Anna

  3. I can't believe the damage the storm caused. There are trees down everywhere. We must have missed the worst of it thank goodness.

The amount of police and ambulances on the road rushing to accidents was crazy last night after the storm. I hope no one was hurt.

  5. Whoa! That was some storm. Wishing you cooler, drier weather. (I know from experience here how that heavy humidity and heat can interfere with your comfort and your thinking and creative process, too -- and my friend who lived in Brisbane for two years says it's even more intense there where you are.)

If the storm does come, may it break the heatwave -- and may you and yours stay safe through it!

  6. You have a lovely blog and artwork, Serena. Nothing makes me happier than to see someone create from their soul.
I hope the storms stay away for you...amazing the damage that can whip on thru.

Your adorable dog, Cody, reminds me of my Oliver ~ a Havanese.

    peace~

  7. What a storm! The heat and humidity--bleh! Sounds like it will be a long summer at this rate. :( Do you spend all your time indoors in the AC? :)

  9. We're have storms here today and tonight, and parts of town lost power when poles were blown down earlier this afternoon. Luckily we didn't lose our power. Sure glad you escaped any damage from your storm.
