Day 14 - AEDM & Nablopomo - Triptych revisited

it has been quite a busy day

first, a doctor's appointment and then off to my daughter's house for the rest of the day.

i had painted a triptych for my granddaughter's room back in july but, recently, my daughter decided on a colour change in mikayla's room.

this was the original triptych that i painted

and this is kinda where it's headed - deeper and more vibrant

the colours in these photos were not the final choice.
i will post the end result later in the week when it's finished.

today, i helped mix colours and painted a little bit but my daughter, michelle (pictured below), did most of the painting while i had the pleasure of playing with my beautiful granddaughter, mikayla.

mikayla took her first steps last week and will be turning ONE year old in december!
she brings me so much happiness!

~ love, light and peace ~

WOW!! I'm so happy Mikayla took her first steps, I can't believe she'll be one year old soon! It's amazing how fast the year has gone by! I love the pic of Mikayla, she looks pretty every time I see her!

    Love Brad!

  2. The tryptich is beautiful as it is, so I can imagine the end result will be even more so. Your granddaughter is just adorable.

  8. Love your piece Serena, it's beautiful. Your granddaughter has sure grown. Walking already, wow. Time does indeed fly by. Hope all is well and thank you for your get well comments for me, I appreciate it. For now the doctor gave me pills for dizziness and some blood pressure pills as it was high.

  9. Oh my! First steps already! All the things we get to see with borrowed new eyes when we spend time with little ones. She is soooo dang cute, Serena!

Be waiting to see what the triptych looks like with different colors. (I didn't even know what that word meant till I met you--LOL!)

Hours with Mikayla and Michelle must feel like a healing balm. :):)

  14. I am learning so much from you. Now, I know what a triptych is and today I went and got my Derwent Inktense pencils. Your grandaughter is beautiful. I know you enjoy spending every moment you can with her.

  15. I like the playful movement across the triptych, and the bolder colors.
    Beautiful grandbaby also.

  16. I love it! I love it! I love it! It's so alive and looking at it makes me feel so refreshed. It's like a summer in a painting. :-) Your colours made it look so pretty and I just can't stop staring at them. It makes me want to do a project like that!!! :-)

Mikayla is so adorable too!!! :-)
