Day 22 - AEDM & Nablopomo - another fishy post

you may recall that yesterday i started this fish ornament sketch

today i played a little more.
first, a second layer of watercolour to strengthen the colours.

then some shading and detailing with my pigma micron pen and uniball white pen.  this (pic below) is where i ended up today. it's very close to finished and then, i'll just add some journaling to the page.

i can hardly believe we're already at day 22 which means only 8 more days left in the challenge!! i sure hope i'll be able to see it through to the end. i must admit that there have been days where it would have been easier for me NOT to do my daily art due to health issues but the commitment to AEDM has a strong hold on me.  it also has a lot to do with the wonderful people i have met in the AEDM group. they are all so encouraging and supportive and i can't thank them enough.

I can hardly believe there is only 8 days left too! You've certainly been a trooper keeping at it. I'm also tickled purple with the folks I've met through AEDM!

  4. Love the way this one has come out, the colour has real depth.

It's going to be strange in December when there's no urge to post every day. I wonder how long I can keep it going? I'm guessing it will be weekly rather than daily, but who knows.

  6. Oh, I love that fish!!
I know what you mean. It has been a real push a few different crummy days, that's for sure. I've met some new people, too, that have been just a joy to get to know.
Only 8 more days, dear friend! But I think maybe we have met some new people that we might know a long time. :):)

  12. Oh this is looking so vibrant and alive!!! :-) Yeah, it is definitely going to be a little different in December after AEDM is over. But then again, we can still work on art and share it with everyone to see. :-)
